Installing & running the QuickView Sync tool

Compatibility: v1.0.0b2 and above

Download the sync tool Installer (Windows - Service)


Running in standalone mode

  1. Download the files from the link above and extract to a directory of your choice. 
  2. Edit config.yml as described in the configuration section below.
  3. Open QuickViewSync.exe and verify that the sync starts.
  4. More information can be found in the included PDF

Installation as a service

Requirements: Full administrator access is required.

  1. Download the files from the link above and extract to a directory of your choice. 
  2. Open a command prompt as an administrator in the same directory as QuickView_Upload.exe.
  3. Run "QuickView_Upload.exe service install" and "QuickView_Upload.exe service start
  4. After 30 seconds to a minute, verify that there is now a logs folder and that there are no errors in the latest log file.

There are also stop, restart, and uninstall commands.


Configuration Options

The configuration file can be found at C:/QuickViewSync/config.yml
